What is a flow?

A flow connects two or more apps and runs events automatically. Usually triggered by an email or a webhook, the flow captures, tweaks (if required) and moves data to its final destination

How is Parsey different than Zapier?

We know and like the team at Zapier. In fact, some of our users use both platforms in conjunction. They either use our more robust email parser to parse data and send it to Zapier via webhook, or, they have Zapier send us a webhook to perform one of our deep integration events.

Zapier goes super wide with their list of integrations but sometimes falls short on the depth of integration. Focusing on just a handful of platforms has allowed us to connect more deeply into their API functions. We also provide a more hands-on customer service approach with personal on-boarding, live chat and phone support.

What is an event?

An event is counted every time a flow moves a piece of data and takes action for you. One flow can process many events. For example, after an email is parsed, Parsey may do the following in the destination platform: create a contact record, create an opportunity record, and apply a tag. This would count as three separate events.

Can I pay annually?

Nope. While it may seem a little old fashioned to some, we primarily lead with monthly pricing because we feel like we should earn your business each and every month. This is only possible because of the fact that we are self-funded and cash-flow positive. Simply put, we aren’t forced to sell annual contracts to please investors.

What happens if I run out of events?

You will be notified when you reach 80% of your plan limit. This gives you sufficient time to upgrade to a higher plan if needed. If you end up exceeding your plan limit, Parsey will charge an additional amount for the overage. Overage fees vary from plan to plan:
Startup = $0.06/event
Jump = $0.05/event
Grow = $0.04/event
Scale = $0.03/event
Enterprise Plans = $0.01 – 0.0025/event

How do I know if Parsey can integrate my apps?

Since Parsey can receive data from any app that sends an email or webhook, it’s impossible to build an exhaustive list of integrations. With that being said, we’ve begun compiling a list of apps we’ve seen users integrate with, using Parsey. See our Known Integrations.

What if I'm short on time or tech skills?

If your team lacks bandwidth or technical abilities to implement Parsey, we’ve got you covered. Our Professional Services team provides a DFY (Done-For-You) Setup for $150. If you’re integrating multiple platforms, or a platform with varying email templates, you may need more than one DFY Setup.

Can I connect multiple CRMs?

Parsey sends data into a handful of applications. We’ve seen some pretty creative setups that share data across multiple CRM’s. Individual plans are limited too connecting with three of the same platforms, I.e. three unique ActiveCampaign accounts or three unique Infusionsoft accounts. If you need to connect one Parsey account to more than three CRM’s, you might be an agency. Hit us up with your unique use case. We have a solution for you.

Are there any additional costs?

Parsey has the ability to send simple, one-way text messages. These are great for internal team alerts or notifications to customers that don’t require a response. SMS Messages cost $.03/msg. Voice Messages cost $0.05/msg.

How fast does Parsey process my flows?

We’re fans of underpromising and overdelivering. The official answer is “less than a few minutes.” The current reality is that once Parsey has received an email or a webhook, most flows ares completed within a few seconds. Our technology is blazing fast but it all depends on the response times from the API’s of the platforms we send data to.

Can I change my plan?

Of course. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime. If you upgrade your plan, you’ll be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the month. If you downgrade your plan, you’ll receive a credit on your next month’s bill.

Do I need to know code?

No way, Jose! Parsey exists to integrate the apps you’re already using with out the need for code or hiring expensive developers. Our intuitive interface allows users to build powerful automations with just a few clicks.

What support is available?

We are here to help you succeed. Our customer service team dwarfs any other department and you should check out our Help Docs. We provide numerous ways to reach and work with our team depending on your plan. All paying customers receive a personalized, one-on-one, on-boarding session. Have a question that’s not on this list? As long as it’s about Parsey and not whether we hear Yanny or Laurel (it totally says Laurel, btw), we can certainly help. Here are a few options for you:
